Inline Gigabit Mode B Step Up Splitter that Converts 12-30 Volts to 48 Volts PoE

SKU GPOE-48v10w

Mix and Match PoE versions on one PoE injector. Caught between Ubiquiti Versions or own Legacy PoE devices? The GPOE-48v10w can be used to power 802.3af devices from a 12 volt to 30 volt injector or DC input. Input power on to the DC or the RJ45 dongles and you will instantly get 48v PoE on the output. This device works inline for simple, convenient application.

Product Description:

  • Instantly modify your 24 volt Passive system to a regulated 48 volts - Mix 24v and 48v devices on one PoE Texas 24v injector
  • Convert existing battery or 12 volt power sources to PoE for use with Power over Ethernet Cameras, Phones and WiFi access points
  • Two use scenarios and wiring options:
    • Input 12-30v on the DC barrel OR
    • Input 12-30v PoE on the Male RJ45
  • Standard 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC female power input
  • 10 watts output – plenty for all IP Phones and most Cameras
  • Diodes isolate the RJ45 power input from the DC power input
  • Works with your existing power source - Solar, DC or PoE

Ask a Question
  • What is the polarity of the DC power in barrel plug ? [ o +ve ]-ve. ? Is the inside pin positive or negative.

Our DC barrel plugs are center positive.  The center (tip) of the output plug is positive (+) and the barrel of the output plug is negative (-).

  • Just to clarify... The 24 volt Passive PoE source powers this device? No external Power supply is required? If so, why would you need the 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC female power input for 12 volts to 30 volts?

The Male RJ45should be plugged into a PoE port on your Power Sourcing Equipment which has an output of 24 volts. The WT-GPOE-48V10W will then step up the voltage to 48 volts, and you can run your CAt6e- cable from the Female RJ45 port out to your 802.3af device. The 2.1 x 5.5mm barrel is there if you wanted to power it directly using a 10-30volt power supply, using the WT-GPOE-48V10W to function as the splitter and the step up converter.
