QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • If I use only two ports does that allow for 60W on each one?

Since the AT-4 is only rated for up to 802.3at PoE, the maximum wattage you can output per port is 30 watts even if you only use 2 ports. If you are wanting 60 watts per port, my best recommendation would be our BT-1-55V60W which outputs 802.3bt rated PoE. Since this only has one uplink port and one PoE port, you would need one BT-1-55v60w for every device you want to power via PoE.

  • the current PoE injectors I have you need to disconnect the device end after a power outage to get them to work gain. Does your PoE device power up no problems after power outages?

Yes the AT-4-56v120w should power back on once power is restored after an outage, given that no damage was caused to the power supply, or injector itself.

  • Does this use hardware 2-event PoE classification or LLDP?

Our active injectors do not use the LLDP, or layer 2 negotiation protocol. This injector uses an auto-negotiation that is compliant by the 802.3at standard. For more inforamtion, please contact our techinical support team: 512-479-0317
