Low cost PoE solution. Instantly upgrade your infrastructure to support one 802.3af or 802.3at PoE device. This method allows power to be combined with 10/100/1000 networks and supports both 802.3af and 802.3at with "always on" passive power.
Power an IP camera, desktop phone, WiFi access point, or other low voltage device through a network data cable using this Passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector. A Passive PoE injector always delivers the same voltage as its power source.

As this is passive device, can it also conversely be used as a PoE splitter (i.e. to split Power from Ethernet)?
Yes, the GPOE-1AB can be used as a splitter. If powered with PoE on the corresponding port, that same voltage will be available as output power on the DC connection. Data out would be on the LAN port.
Will this power a Cisco 2802i WAP?
Yes, the GPOE-1AB-48v30w is a compatible injector to power 1 x Cisco 2802i.
