The GAF-5v splitter works with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet to provide 5 volt power with up to 10 watts peak output. Use with your existing PoE Switch or Injector to power 5 volt non-PoE devices such as Airsight and Foscam indoor cameras, BeagleBoard, and other 5 volt devices remotely.

  • Who distributes your products in Canada? I am looking for WT-AF-5v10w. Thanks, in advance

    You can buy out products on Amazon.ca.  We do not have a distributor in Canada yet.

    However, we can certainly handle shipping your product to Canada with a qualified shipper with shipping times from 3-10 days.

  • Any plans for a WT-AF-5v10w type device with 30W for AT/POE+? I have SBCs that need more than 10W.

    We are currently working on a 5 volt 20 watt device which we project to be available by the end of May. 

  • Do you have a product that would work wit with a 2.1mm barrel supplying 5V @ 1 amp?

    We offer a 1.35mm to 2.1mm adapter that will work with this product. Your other option would be to purchase the WT-AF-5v5w splitter which is designed for 5 volts 1 Amp and source a Female Micro USB to male 2.1 Barrel adapter.

  • I am looking for a DC power plug similar to the DC adapter we use with an ODROID-C2. The dimensions are Ø2.5* Ø.7*9.5mm. Is your 2.5mm plug compatible with this?

    This could work if you purchase our WT-AF-5v-USB kit. You would then need to source a USB lead cable to .8mm mini tip to plug into an Odroid-C2. Please remember that our splitter will require an 802.3af compatible switch or injector to provide power. 

  • Will this work with Smartthings hub v2?

    Yes, the GAF-5v10w is compatible to power the Samsung Smart Things Hub v2. The only difference is that it requires a 2.1 DC barrel connection. Please email success@poetexas.com or call 512-479-0317 if you'd like to order the 1.35 to 2.1 RA-4x adapters.

  • I have 802.3AT+ switch that I'd like use to power a Samsung SmartThings Hub. Will the GAF-5v10w work or is the power barrel size wrong? Would I need an adapter? Do you have a better solution? Thank You

    Yes, the GAF-5v10w splitter is compatible for power, but the Samsung Smart Thing Hub has a DC connection of 2.1mm. The 1.35 to 2.1-RA DC adapters will convert the 1.35mm barrel on the GAF-5v10w to fit with your end device.

  • Will I be able to use my WS-POE 48v-60W passive POE injector to provide the necessary power for my 5v ip camera?

    Yes, the GAF-5v10w will work with POE-8-48V60W to provide 5 volts 2 amps to your powered device.
