QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Will this switch support VoIP phones and vlan configurations with QoS. Do you have any examples where a VoIP phone is connected to the switch and the PC is connected to the switch port of the VoIP phone?

Yes, this switch will support VoIP phones that accept 802.3af, 802.3at, or 802.3bt PoE and supports VoIP phone and VLAN configurations with QoS. The PoE switch will plug directly into the VoIP phone to provide power + data. Since this is an active managed switch, you can send data only with a separate port on this switch to a computer, or if the VoIP phone has a port for connecting to the computer as well as a port for PoE then you should be able to use that for passthrough data.
