Ask a Question
  • Is this injector a good fit to run two TP-Link CAP300 access points? I will possibly expand to 6 or more.

This will work.  However, I might suggest our WT-GPOE-8-48v120w instead as it handles more ports, costs about the same, and will power all 8 ports at 15 watts (POE standard).

  • Which mode do I need?

It depends on what you're powering. The short answer is that 24 volt devices need Mode B, and 48 volt need Mode A. Call us if you're not sure.

  • I need a 25w or higher POE+ can you point me to one of those

This product with a 48 volt power supply can offer 30 watts (650mA) per port. Our WS-GPOE-6-AB with a Y-cable (PT-2.1-2.1Y) and a 48 volt power supply will be able to offer 48 volts up to 60 watts per port. The highest watt power supply we offer is 120 watts which would be distributed amongst devices. If you are planning to use the WS-GPOE-6-AB for your 25w application, you would only be able to support 4 devices with a 48 volt, 120 watt power supply

We also offer other solutions to achieve PoE+, please contact our support team at for your specific application.

  • is this a POE+

Yes, this unit is a Passive PoE+ injector capable of power on all 4 pairs for up to 1.3amps per port when paired with the included Y cable.
