  • I want to remote view a camera on it's own network. If connect the POE-1-48V15W to a dedicated cable modem and the camera to the POE-1-48V15W will that work?

    Yes, when the LAN port is taking data in from your modem/network source, this injector kit will allow you to see your camera view. Data on this is injector is not managed; data will be unmanaged / pass through transmission. Please note that this is a 10/100 injector.   • Hi, I am looking for a single to 4 port poe injector that I can use on my boat with a FLIR night vision camera. the issue is I need to connect the injector to a 12-24 vdc input source to power the injector. with this unit function with direct 12-24vdc without using the ac power adaptor?

    This single port injector takes power from a DC power source (12-56 volts). If you already have a DC power source then yes, this injector will power on with 12-24VDC to convert the DC power to PoE power. Be sure to confirm the power requirements of your FLIR to ensure that it can accept PoE power.
