Going the Distance : How Long Distance PoE Saves You Money and Time

Blast!  You've hit the ethernet limit, 330 ft, and you still have a way to go.  If you're like many people, myself included, a sense of betrayal comes with discovering that the world spanning network of the internet you see coming into your computer can only travel 100 meters or 330 ft on ethernet cable.  You ask yourself, "really?  Three hundred or so feet is as far as you can get?"

Fortunately the real answer is "most of the time". 

 Fun Fact: Most of the long data runs in the world run on Fiber Optic cable which can send data at the speed of light much further.  But the reality is that you don't always need the heavy lifting of Fiber Optic.

Is Apple working on high power iPhone charger? (Psssst. We already make one.)

Despite iPhone 8 and iPhone X  supporting USB-C Fast Charging, a feature that allows them to store a 50% charge in under 30 minutes, Apple hasn't released (or even announced) a USB-C iPhone charger.

Now, thanks to some possibly genuine leaked photos, it looks like there's a chance that maybe, possibly Apple is working on a USB-C charger for iPhone.
